AJ Networks takes action against invasive plants in Tanchon ecosystem.

AJ Networks (095570) announced on Sept. 26 that it has launched activities to combat ecosystem-disturbing plants in Tancheon, Songpa-gu, Seoul.

AJ Networks and the Environmental Action Alliance held the event on September 25 to combat ecosystem disrupting plants and restore native animal and plant habitats to restore biodiversity. Twenty AJ employee volunteers removed 400 kilograms of ecosystem disrupting plants such as ragweed and pansy vine, and made 2,000 EM (Effective Micro-organisms) soil balls, which are effective for water purification and organic matter fermentation, and threw them into Tancheon Stream.
All of the plants removed by the volunteers are invasive species that are highly reproductive and suppress the growth of native plants in the area. As the loss of native plant habitat can lead to the loss of ecosystem balance and biodiversity, AJ Networks said it is committed to local conservation through this activity.
In addition to the Tancheon Ecosystem Conservation Activity, AJ Networks also continued its interest in the local community by conducting the "Sharing a Warm Meal Campaign" for the Chuseok holiday, which provided meal vouchers to 50 elderly people living alone in Songpa-gu through Songpa-gu Garak General Welfare Center and 50 single-parent families nationwide through Yanko Social Cooperative.
